International Association of Psychophonetics Practitioners (IAPP)
IAPP is the official and independent body for the profession of Psychophonetics and for professional Psychophonetics counsellors, psychotherapists, consultants, supervisors and teachers.
IAPP acts as the association for the regulation of the profession of Psychophonetics; for upholding its ethical standards; for the protection of the served public; and as advocates for Psychophonetics counsellors, psychotherapists, consultants, supervisors and teachers internationally, as a non-profit association.
Originally, IAPP was formalised in South Africa in 2008 with an Australian branch, and later a UK branch. In 2023, IAPP was registered in Slovakia, with an international membership.
IAPP offers supervision, peer group meetings, workshops, professional development, newsletters and this website >www.psychophonetics.com.au< to promote the development of Psychophonetics and its activities worldwide.
Professional Psychophonetics practitioners can apply to join IAPP. Student membership for enrolled counsellor trainees at Skola Empatie is also available.
